Instructions for Installing Tax Forms CD-ROMS

Accessing Tax form through the CD-ROM products supplied by the IRS and the State of Michigan Department of Treasury is hands down the easiest method of working with the forms for library patrons.  As April 16th, 2001 gets closer the servers at the IRS and the Michigan Dept. of Treasury web sites will continually slow down.  Accessing the forms and publications through CD, however, will allow you to help your patrons quicker and easier... once you have the CD working properly on your computer.

NOTE FOR MICHIGAN LIBRARIANS:  If you find these tools helpful, please send your comments to Debbie Gallagher (GallagherD@aadl.org) so that she can pass them along to the Michigan Department of Treasury and the IRS to help them improve the documentation for such excellent products.

I have created two ShortGuides to help your install these CD-ROM products.  Select the item below that you would like to get instructions for installing:

(These files are quite large, so please be patient while they download)

2000 Michigan Tax Forms CD-ROM

2000 Federal Tax Forms CD-ROM
